Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Nomad Logistic Solutions ("Nomad", "we", "us", "our"), a logistics business operating in Lagos, Nigeria. By booking a delivery, sending a package, or using our website at nomadlogisticsolutions.com, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Nomad provides same-day delivery, interstate dispatch, international shipping coordination, warehousing, e-commerce fulfilment, and related logistics services within and from Lagos, Nigeria. Service availability, pricing, and timing depend on route, package size, traffic, and rider availability.
2. Bookings and pricing
- Estimates displayed on the website are approximate. Final pricing is confirmed by a Nomad agent before pickup.
- Pricing may be adjusted for actual distance, weight, urgency, and access difficulties.
- Payment is by Paystack (online) or bank transfer to Nomad's company account — either before pickup or on delivery, as agreed at booking. We do not accept cash and riders are not authorised to receive payments on Nomad's behalf.
- Bookings are confirmed only after Nomad acknowledges the order via WhatsApp, email, or the admin portal.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate sender, recipient, pickup, and drop-off details. Nomad is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by wrong or incomplete information.
- Ensure someone is available at the pickup and drop-off addresses during the scheduled window.
- Pack items securely. Items must be ready for pickup at the agreed time.
- Declare the contents and value of high-value items in advance.
4. Prohibited items
Nomad will not transport, and you must not tender for delivery:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind
- Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or radioactive materials
- Live animals (without prior written agreement)
- Human remains, body parts, or biological samples
- Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or contraband
- Cash, gold, jewellery worth above ₦100,000, or other valuables without prior insurance arrangement
- Perishable food beyond agreed timeframes
- Items prohibited by Nigerian law or the destination country (for international shipments)
If a package is discovered to contain prohibited items, Nomad may refuse delivery, return it, surrender it to authorities, and charge a handling fee. The Customer indemnifies Nomad against any legal consequences arising from such items.
5. Cancellations and changes
- You may cancel a booking before pickup at no charge.
- If a rider has already been dispatched, a ₦1,500 cancellation fee may apply.
- Changes to addresses, recipient details, or package size may affect pricing and timing.
6. Delivery times
Delivery times are estimates only. Nomad makes reasonable efforts to deliver within the agreed window but is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, security incidents, government action, recipient unavailability, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Limitation of liability
See our Liability Disclaimer for details. In summary: Nomad's maximum liability for any lost, damaged, or delayed package is limited to the lesser of the declared value or ₦50,000, unless you have purchased additional insurance coverage from us in advance.
8. Promotional codes
- Promo codes are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with other offers.
- Promotional offers may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of Nomad Logistic Solutions, without prior notice.
- Where a promo code is applied to an order that is later refunded, the discount portion is not separately refundable as cash.
9. Use of the website and admin tools
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data, abuse the booking form, or use Nomad's services to send fraudulent or spam communications.
10. Account suspension
Nomad may decline service, suspend, or block any Customer who repeatedly violates these Terms, abuses staff, files fraudulent claims, or tenders prohibited items.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State. We encourage you to contact us first at support@nomadlogisticsolutions.com so we can try to resolve issues directly.
